Comparison

ZapPost vs SocialBee.

One sorts the content you already have into categories and puts the good posts back on air. The other builds the carousel, the Reels script and the caption that do not exist yet. What each one solves, what each plan leaves out and what it costs per month, with prices read on each company's own pricing page.

The short answer

Both show up in the same search for an Instagram tool, and what separates them is stock: SocialBee pays off once you have a pile of posts to sort into categories and repeat, ZapPost comes in before that, while the pile is still empty.

ZapPost

Content, ready to post

Go with ZapPost if

  • You open the scheduling queue and stop at the first screen, because there is no post to put in it.
  • You want the carousel built slide by slide, with the text already split up.
  • You want a Reels script and a caption with a CTA in the same place, on the same day.
  • You run one profile and you would rather not pay for five.

SocialBee

Category-based scheduler

Stay with SocialBee if

  • You already have posts saved and you want them back on air on their own, without remembering to reuse them.
  • You handle several profiles at once, yours or a client's: the entry plan connects up to 5.
  • You post on networks beyond Instagram, such as LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube and Google Business.
  • You want to answer comments, mentions and direct messages on the same screen where you schedule.

Feature by feature

The lines are split between what only one of them does and what both deliver, each in its own way.

SocialBee's four lines are scheduler work with a memory, and it does that work well. All four need the post to exist before it can start running.

FeatureZapPostSSocialBee
Only ZapPost does
Builds the carousel slide by slide, with the text already split up
Writes the Reels script and the caption with a CTA from the topic you pick
Matches the tone of your niche without you explaining the business every time
Charges one price, with no counting of how many profiles you connect
Only SocialBee does
Sorts posts into categories and puts back on air, in order, whatever you marked to repeat
Publishes on its own to ten networks, among them Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest and Google Business
Pulls text from your blog through an RSS feed and turns it into a post in the queue
Brings Instagram and Facebook comments, mentions and direct messages into one inbox
Both do
Generate post copy with artificial intelligence
Work with carousels and with Reels
Run from the phone, with nothing to install on a computer

The line about generating copy with artificial intelligence exists on both sides and is worth a closer look, because it hides the main difference. On SocialBee the generation is unlimited on all three plans and comes wired to Canva, Unsplash and GIPHY, which is where you build the image. On ZapPost the carousel comes out built, slide by slide, and the Reels script comes with it.

Pricing, and what fits in each plan

SocialBee charges in dollars and has three steps, and what changes most between them is how many profiles fit and how many categories you can create. ZapPost charges one price.

ZapPost

SocialBee

BootstrapUS$29.00

Up to 5 connected profiles, one user, one workspace, 10 content categories holding up to a thousand posts each, 10 RSS sources and unlimited AI copy generation. Analytics keep 3 months of history.

AccelerateUS$49.00/month

Up to 10 profiles, 50 categories holding up to five thousand posts each, 30 RSS sources, advanced analytics with 2 years of history, a hashtag organizer, bulk post editing, CSV uploads and an approval flow.

ProUS$99.00/month

Up to 25 profiles across 5 workspaces, with 3 people in each, unlimited categories and sources, branded exportable reports and internal notes so the team can review before publishing.

Before you compare the numbers, look at what you are paying for. SocialBee's entry step costs US$29.00 per month and comes with 5 profiles. If you run one profile, you still pay for all five. The official page also shows the yearly price, at 16% off, which brings Bootstrap down to US$24.20 per month when you pay twelve months up front. On our side, ZapPost costs US$19.00 a month, one fixed price, or US$11.50/mo, billed every 6 months.

Neither one has a free plan. SocialBee opens with a 14-day trial that does not ask for a card, and refunds your money within 30 days if you walk away. ZapPost has a 7-day guarantee, with the card going in at the start. Comparing the two numbers decides little, because they do not charge for the same thing: one charges to organise and repeat what you already have, the other for the content to exist.

Where each one wins

SocialBee's side comes first on purpose, because a comparison that only praises its own side helps nobody decide.

Where ZapPost wins

  • Recycling needs stock, and that is where the maths breaks.

SocialBee's queue turns what you already published. Someone starting out, or someone who stopped posting six months ago, has nothing to repeat. In the Studio you pick the format, say the topic and get the carousel, the Reels script or the caption ready right away.

  • The carousel comes built.

SocialBee's copy generation is unlimited and it handles the caption. The carousel slides are still your work inside Canva or Unsplash, which are the integrations it offers for the visual side. That is the part ZapPost hands over finished.

  • You get the whole post.

Carousel, Reels script and caption with a CTA in the same place, on the same day, in your niche's tone, without you re-explaining the business each time.

  • One price, no add-ons.

US$19.00 a month, with nothing added on top and no paying for profiles you do not use.

S

Where SocialBee wins

  • The category queue, which is why it exists.

You sort posts by topic, set how often each category goes out in the week, and the queue turns on its own, putting back on air whatever you marked to repeat. ZapPost hands you the file and keeps no queue at all.

  • It publishes, and to ten networks.

Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky and Google Business go out directly, at the set time. ZapPost publishes to no network: you download and post with your own hands.

  • Comments and direct messages on the same screen.

The official page lists an inbox for comments, mentions and direct messages from Instagram and Facebook Pages. ZapPost does not touch your inbox.

  • Several profiles and several people.

Five profiles on the entry plan, 25 on Pro, with separate workspaces and approval before publishing. ZapPost has no team or client feature.

ZapPost solves the part where more people get stuck, and SocialBee solves the part that comes after. One takes care of the post existing; the other takes care of it going back on air at the right time, as often as you want. Anyone who reaches Tuesday morning with an empty queue has the first kind of problem, and no empty category fills itself.

What changes in your day

The difference between the two shows up in which part of the week stays yours.

With ZapPost

There is no blank screen and no assembly. In exchange, publishing stays with you: ZapPost does not schedule and keeps no queue.

  1. The notification arrives on your phone.
  2. You open it and pick the format of the day.
  3. You say what the post is about.
  4. You download what came out.
  5. You publish, or drop it into a SocialBee category.
With SocialBee

Before step 1, you create the post. SocialBee picks up from the moment there is content to drop into a category.

  1. Decide what the post is about.
  2. Write the caption and build the carousel in another tool, or in Canva through the integration.
  3. Drop the post into the right category.
  4. Set how many times a week that category goes out.
  5. It publishes on its own and repeats when the turn comes. For new content, back to step 1.

You can use both. ZapPost builds the carousel of the day and SocialBee stores it, schedules it and repeats it when that makes sense: one covers exactly the other's gap.

Common questions

Does ZapPost schedule and publish like SocialBee?

No. ZapPost generates the content in the Studio and you download it ready; publishing stays with SocialBee or with the tool you already use. If you want posts going out on their own at the set time you need a scheduler, and SocialBee is one of the good ones, with a category queue and direct publishing to ten networks.

Does SocialBee create the content for me?

In part. The official page advertises unlimited AI copy generation on all three plans, plus an assistant that puts together a strategy with ready-to-use posts. The visual side comes from the Canva, Unsplash and GIPHY integrations, and building the carousel slide by slide stays your work in there. ZapPost hands that part over finished, with the Reels script and the caption alongside.

What is SocialBee's content recycling?

It is the feature the house is named for. You mark a post as evergreen, it goes back into the queue after publishing and returns on air when its category comes up again. You can set when a post expires, either by number of times shared or by date. It works well for anyone with material already saved, and it solves nothing for anyone who has yet to write the first post.

Does SocialBee have a free plan?

No. What it has is a 14-day trial with access to the whole Pro plan, with no card asked for, and a refund within 30 days. The entry plan is Bootstrap, at US$29.00 a month, with 5 profiles. ZapPost has no free version either, only a 7-day guarantee, with the card going in at the start.

Which of the two is cheaper?

ZapPost, at US$19.00 a month against the US$29.00 of Bootstrap. The maths changes if you handle several profiles: that same Bootstrap price covers five, so the cost per profile drops a long way. The number only helps you decide once you know which problem is yours: repeating what you already published, or writing the post that does not exist yet.

Where did these prices come from?

From SocialBee's official pricing page, opened on 26 September 2026, and from ZapPost's pricing page. The figures used here are the monthly ones, because a price with the year paid up front sitting next to a month-to-month price compares two different things. The same table shows the yearly option at 16% off.

Not between these two?

The SocialBee alternatives page shows four tools with the price and the limit of each, and the prices move a lot there: Pallyy, SocialPilot and Metricool all open below Bootstrap, and ContentStudio ties with it. What really separates them is the category queue with repetition, which none of the four delivers the same way. And the comparisons hub puts ZapPost side by side with each of them.

The comparison ends. The week goes on.

Picking the tool is the easy part. The hard part is having content ready on Tuesday morning, when the day already started tight.
