Comparison

ZapPost vs Agorapulse.

One is a social media help desk, billed per person who logs in. The other hands you the post of the day, ready to download, for one flat price. What each one solves, where each one stops and what it costs per month, with prices read on each tool's official pricing page.

The short answer

Both show up in the same search for an Instagram tool, and what separates them is the size of the problem: Agorapulse was built for the person who spends the day answering messages across several accounts, ZapPost was built for the person with one account and nothing to put in it.

ZapPost

Content, ready to post

Go with ZapPost if

  • You open Instagram to post and stop, because you have nothing to post.
  • You look after one profile, the one for your own business.
  • You want a carousel, a Reels script and a caption with a CTA on the same day, in the same place.
  • You want one flat price, with no seat count attached to it.

Agorapulse

Social help desk

Stay with Agorapulse if

  • Comments, direct messages and Google Business reviews land every day, and you want them on one screen.
  • You look after several social profiles, your own or a client's.
  • You have to hand a report with your own branding to somebody who asked for it.
  • You want to answer from your phone, while you are out.

Feature by feature

The rows are split by what only one of them does and by what both deliver, each in its own way.

The four Agorapulse rows are help desk and publishing work, and it does that work well. None of them builds tomorrow's carousel screens.

FeatureZapPostAAgorapulse
Only ZapPost does
New content arrives every day, without you asking
The carousel comes built, screen by screen, in the voice of your niche
A Reels script and a caption with a CTA alongside the carousel
One flat price, whatever the number of people using it
Only Agorapulse does
Publishes on its own at the set time, across several networks
Pulls comments, direct messages and Google Business reviews into one inbox
Closes a performance report and exports it with your own branding
Has a phone app for answering and approving away from the desk
Both do
Artificial intelligence helps write the caption
You can set your brand's tone once and have the text come out in it
Runs in the browser, with nothing to install

The single inbox is what keeps people inside Agorapulse, and nothing in ZapPost plays that part. Anyone taking messages all day needs it.

Pricing, and what fits in each plan

Agorapulse charges in dollars and per user, with three steps published in the table. ZapPost charges one flat price, and the bill does not move with the number of people.

A

Agorapulse

StandardUS$99.00

Ten social profiles, unlimited scheduling, the single inbox and basic reports with branded export. The figure is per user, every month. Committing to a year brings it to US$79.00 per user, an advertised saving of US$240.00 a year.

ProfessionalUS$149.00/mo per user

Still ten social profiles. In come ad comment moderation, Instagram product tagging, link in bio and a team performance report. On the annual plan, US$119.00 per user.

AdvancedUS$199.00/mo per user

Ten social profiles again. Here you get labels, saved replies, automated moderation rules, shared calendars, ads reporting and ROI tied to conversions. On the annual plan, US$149.00 per user.

The Agorapulse bill grows per person, and the profile ceiling does not grow with it. Standard costs US$99.00 per user, so the second person on the team pays the same figure over again. And the three plans with a price in the table all stop at ten social profiles: Professional and Advanced cost more and carry the same ten. An extra profile runs US$15.00 a month each on the monthly plan, or US$10.00 on the annual one. Unlimited profiles sit only on Custom, which publishes no figure and comes out of a conversation with the sales team. ZapPost costs US$19.00 a month, or US$11.50/mo, billed every 6 months.

It is worth looking at what the entry plan keeps as well. The history of your posts and incoming messages sits at six months on Standard, twelve on Professional and twenty four on Advanced, so anyone at the front door looks half a year back and no further. Advanced listening, advocacy and competitor benchmarking are not in the plan table at all: they are add-ons sold through a demo. The trial runs thirty days and asks for no card, which is the widest door in our comparison set. A free plan is not in the Agorapulse plan table. On our side that job falls to the 7-day guarantee, with the card going in at the start.

Where each one wins

The Agorapulse side comes first on purpose, because a comparison that only praises its own side helps nobody decide.

Where ZapPost wins

  • The content arrives without you asking.

There is a new post waiting every day, already finished. In Agorapulse the calendar stays empty until you make something to put in it.

  • The carousel comes built.

The Agorapulse writing assistant helps with the caption and the brand voice. The carousel screens stay your job over there, and that is exactly the part ZapPost hands over finished.

  • The whole post comes together.

Carousel, Reels script and caption with a CTA in the same place, on the same day, tuned to your niche.

  • One price, with no heads to count.

US$19.00 a month, with nothing extra to pay each time somebody else joins the account.

Where Agorapulse wins

  • Everything that lands goes into one box.

Comments, direct messages and Google Business reviews on one screen, with the conversation history for each contact. ZapPost takes nothing in: it hands over the post and stops there.

  • It publishes on its own at the set time.

You lay the week out and it sends the posts through the day, across several networks. In ZapPost you download and post by hand.

  • A whole month to try it, with no card.

Thirty days is plenty of time to see whether answering through social fits your day. In ZapPost the card goes in right at the start.

  • Reports come out with your name on them.

Exporting with your own logo is there on the entry plan, alongside support around the clock. ZapPost measures no profiles and issues no reports.

Four points on each side, and they do not cancel each other out. One takes care of what reaches you through social; the other takes care of there being a post for people to comment on. Anyone whose inbox is quiet because they published nothing this week has the second kind of problem.

What changes in your day

The difference between them shows up in which part of the week is still your job.

With ZapPost

There is no blank screen and no layout work. In exchange, publishing and answering stay with you: ZapPost does not schedule and has no inbox.

  1. The notification lands on your phone.
  2. You open it.
  3. You pick the kind of post for the day.
  4. You download it.
  5. You publish.
With Agorapulse

Before step 1, you make the post. Agorapulse comes in once the content exists.

  1. Decide the subject of the post.
  2. Write the text and build the carousel in another tool.
  3. Open Agorapulse and drop it all in the calendar.
  4. It publishes at the set time.
  5. The replies land in the inbox and you answer there. Tomorrow, all of it again from step 1.

You can run both. ZapPost makes the content of the day and Agorapulse takes it into the queue and gathers what comes back: one covers exactly the gap left by the other.

Common questions

Does ZapPost schedule posts like Agorapulse?

No. ZapPost delivers finished content and you download it and publish by hand. Anyone who wants a post going out on its own at a set time needs a scheduler, and Agorapulse covers that piece alongside the inbox and the reporting.

Does Agorapulse create the content for me?

In part. It has an artificial intelligence writing assistant, automatic alt text for images and a place to record your brand's tone, all listed in its own plan table. What stays with you are the carousel screens, which is the part that eats the time. ZapPost hands that part over built, with the Reels script and the caption alongside.

Which one is cheaper?

ZapPost, by a wide margin, for anyone running one profile alone. The Agorapulse entry plan costs US$99.00 per user, and ZapPost sits at US$19.00 a month with no seats to count. The picture changes when you handle several accounts and take messages all day, which is exactly what that money buys.

Do the ten profiles go up if I pay for a bigger plan?

They do not. Standard, Professional and Advanced carry the same ten, and what sets them apart is reporting, moderation and team organisation. Each profile past the ten lands on the invoice at US$15.00 a month, a figure that drops to US$10.00 if you commit to a year. Profiles without a ceiling exist only on Custom, which is priced on request.

Does Agorapulse have a free plan?

The plan table carries no free tier. The way in is a thirty day trial that takes no card, and once the time is up you pick one of the paid plans. ZapPost has no free plan either, just a 7-day guarantee.

Where did these prices come from?

From Agorapulse's official pricing page, read on September 16, 2026. The ZapPost figure comes from our own pricing page. That table shows both figures, month to month and year committed, and the prices on this page are the month-to-month ones.

Not between these two?

The Agorapulse alternatives page shows four tools with the price and the ceiling of each one. Three of them open for less than the entry plan over there, Metricool at US$20.00, Loomly at US$65.00 and Vista Social at US$79.00, and one matches it, Sprout Social at US$99.00. Note that Sprout Social also charges per user, so swapping one for the other leaves untouched the part of the bill that grows with the team. And the comparisons hub puts ZapPost side by side with every one of them.
